The simple version is that we are five neighbors turned friends who had an idea, and became business partners once we bought our very authentic 1971 Airstream in the Fall of 2022. The long version is the full experience that came along with creating Maryland Mobile Bars. Our work was cut out for us by performing a full renovation top to bottom. Our dream was to restore a 50yr old exterior, add that beautiful shine that the 1970s aluminum was capable of, and build a full lounge inside that was welcoming and entirely unique, worthy of any celebration. After 7 months of hard work, we finished Cocktails and Streams. We launched with our first event in May 2023, huzzah! The Tuk-tuk was added to our fleet in June 2023 which served the purpose of appealing to smaller events that were also looking for something special, or to be an add-on to the Airstream for the biggest of events.

It takes a village to start a business and ours is no different. A huge thank you to our families for putting up with us as we started a brand new venture. Thanks to our friends and colleagues who continue to help us as needed in all areas of this business. 

Maryland Mobile Bars has turned into a passion that the five of us are fully committed to and a business we enjoy working to be better at everyday. MOBILE BARS

Maryland Mobile Bars is offering its 31’ “Cocktails & Streams” Airstream and 14’ tuk-tuk for rent on a first come first serve basis. We can add a satellite bar to either rental upon request. Additional mobile bars will be added to the fleet as they are renovated and put into service.

 

DELIVERY & SETUP

MMB will deliver the mobile bar at least 2 hours prior to the event start time, unless earlier setup is required by Client and such timeframe shall be discussed and negotiated prior to contract signing. MMB requires 1 hour to breakdown and cleanup after the event ends.

 

EVENT LOCATION & TOPOGRAPHY

MMB can serve beverages on private property. We can also serve beverages on public property if the customer acquires necessary permits for their locality.

Cocktails & Streams is 35’ long by 8’ wide and requires a good amount of clearance. Flat topography will be required, and the Airstream will be leveled in place prior to operations beginning. A site visit may be required, which costs $75 within the delivery zone. A firm surface is required. Please let us know of any concerns regarding clearance, topography etc. as soon as possible.

Our TukTuk is 11’ feet long by 6’ wide by 7’8” tall, requiring less space to situate in some locations. We can discuss with you whether or not a site visit is best for your event.

 

BYOB

At this time we do not offer any alcoholic beverage sales in Maryland, D.C. or Virginia. We provide the non-alcoholic cocktail mixers and bartending/service team and you provide the booze. We don't sell alcohol, but we offer a truly unique experience with first class bar/catering/lounge. In addition to our mixers you are welcome to provide beer, wine and spirits to be served from the mobile bar. No smoking is permitted within the Airstream at any time. 

 

POWER

Cocktails & Streams requires a dedicated 20 amp 120v outlet. If Clients power is not sufficient, MMB can provide a generator for an additional fee of $250.

 

CATERING & KEGS

Cocktails & Streams is a beverage service trailer equipped with 3 compartment sink, handwashing sink, ice storage, beverage storage and serving area. In addition, the Airstream is equipped with a 3 tap pour system with CO2 and external sixtel or 1/2 keg cooler storage. MMB will provide additional coolers to keep extra kegs cold during the event. We have the capability to serve beer, wine or seltzers through our system. Client is responsible for reserving and ordering its kegs in advance through a provider of choice and shall be responsible for picking them up prior to the event. We also offer partnerships with local spirit shops who design drink menus and arrange delivery.

 

PRICING

Any pricing on our website is subject to change. The client’s event, guest count, location, date, hours etc. will be determining factors in providing an official quote.

 

 

GUEST COUNT

Client agrees to provide a final guest count to MMB within 2 weeks of the event start, so that it can order sufficient supplies and provide guidance to client as to how much alcohol to purchase. In addition, if client’s guest count has increased and additional staff is required, MMB will use commercially reasonable efforts to hire additional staff within the timeframe allotted. 

 

DEPOSIT & OTHER TERMS

Reservations for Cocktails & Streams are on a first come first serve basis and MMB requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure a date along with a signed contract. The balance is required 2 weeks prior to the event date.
